My daughter says that this author "Beverly Cleary" writes really good books.

The Blessing of the Animals: True Stories of Ginny, the Dog Who Rescues Cats
Review Date: 11/14/2010

I was a little disappointed with this book-from the reviews I had expected a more interesting rad. Ginny is truly an interesting dog and her rescue efforts heroic, but the stories seemed repetitive.

A tale of a women and her rescued horse. IMO a little sappy but a good read never-the-less.

The Dogs of Bedlam Farm : An Adventure with Sixteen Sheep, Three Dogs, Two Donkeys, and Me

I absolutely loved this book. Jon's knowledge and love of dogs comes through on every page...I even garnered some training tips from this book. This is one of those books I like to share with fellow dog lovers.

Tell Me Where It Hurts: A Day of Humor, Healing and Hope in My Life as an Animal Surgeon
Review Date: 2/1/2010
Helpful Score: 2

This book was a good read but not one of those books I couldn't put down. Animal lovers -especially dog lovers will like it. It details a day in the life of a small animal vet who also embellishes his stories with some memorable stories from the past.
