This is the story of Ryder Sherbrooke, Douglas's younger brother (The Sherbrooke Bride). Ryder is a fun loving young rake with a secret. The young girl that he meets when he travels to Jamaica hides secrets of her own. Sophia has successfully controlled every man in her orbit until she meets Ryder, a man she knows immediately is different from the others. This is the third novel in the Bride Trilogy.

This is the second of Gayle Callen's books that I have read. I enjoyed it very much and will look for more. This particular one took place in England in 1591, not such a common time period for historical romances. It has enough intrigue to keep you turning the pages!

This is the first novel that I have read by Gayle Callen. It was an enjoyable tale in which the main characters were Not Perfect. This made it a pleasure to read...just a bit different from the norm. I will watch for more from this author.

This is the first novel in the Bride Trilogy. It is the story of Douglas Sherbrooke, Earl of Northcliffe, who is a man besieged. He must have an heir. Thus he must first provide himself with the requisite bride. Since life never ladles out what one expects, Douglas finds himself married to the wrong sister. Enjoy their trials and tribulations while they find love.
