This book is a hoot from beginning to end! What with a talking bat, a strangely endearing cannibal and stolen human organs, you can't help but wonder what the next page is going to bring. What fun!

I absolutely adore Jen Lancaster and can't wait until her next book comes out. I have read all her books and each one is gem. "Jeneration X", in which Jen addresses the process of actually becoming a full-fledged adult, is no exception. Her sassy outlook on life and her unusual way of tackling whatever problems come her way are first-rate entertainment. Plus, she always manages to learn something in the process and so does the reader.

Quite possibly one of the most confusing, disjointed books I have ever read. It was a slog getting through it and I wish anyone luck who does attempt it. Sorry!

Thoroughly researched and thoroughly entertaining! The author included a few historical women who could be loosely described as "princesses" by default, but they are so interesting that she can be forgiven for the slight authorial license. A quick read that can be set aside and picked up again for sheer entertainment value as well as a fascinating history lesson.

I loved this book! I learned a lot about medieval women and what they had to endure. They were considered "uppity" because they had brains and knew how to use them! Very interesting, fast reading.
