Good Night, Sleep Tight, Don't Let the Bedbugs Bite! (Gilbert and Friends)

My son LOVES this book! He is 3 years old and won't go to bed until it has been read to him. Very quick read right before bed.

Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child: A Step-by-Step Program for a Good Night's Sleep

This book is great if you decide to do the Cry It Out method. I ear-marked a ton of pages. It is so encouraging! When you felt like I was about to go into my crying baby after 10 minutes, I just opened up the book and found one of many passages that said STOP! You are doing what is best for your baby. Sleep is so important and when you have a stubborn baby, it makes it so hard to do the no-cry methods. Like I said, if you don't believe in cry it out, this book isn't for you. If you do, this is the best of the Cry it out books. I won't be swapping this one for awhile. It will be in my library until my little man is over a year old.

Interesting to hear the different witness details, but the writing was rather choppy. No fluid story line. It did start to pick up pace toward the end though. Overall a pretty good book. Author didn't take any liberties.

On Becoming Baby Wise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep
Review Date: 2/16/2012

Great ideas in this book. You definitely have to follow them loosely and listen to your parental instincts. I agree with the CIO method, but only for a short period of time (15 min). Wouldn't let my 7 week old cry for that long. But the eat, wake/play, sleep is a brilliant idea. Would recommend to a friend.

Love, love, loved this book. It is definately on my top 10 list. I didn't want to put it down, and when it was over, I was kind of sad. I felt connected to the characters. One I will be reading again!

The book was very informative. I love David Jeremiah! However, I kind of lost interest towards the end. Overall, a pretty good book.
