My mother read the book and she loved it! It was the best of the series she says because it combines with the old and the new.

I just started my Pharmacy Tech program 2 weeks ago and boy can I say this book is a tough nut to crack...even our teacher and educational director agree. This book is written as if were Doctor Speak or something. It's just one technical term after another. If your looking for something that will actually make it easier for you understand I would look elsewhere. It's good though with all the information but the way it's all jumbled up it takes forever to get your head around a few pages to understand it...especially in the cardiovascular chapter...phew!

Lots of info but unfortunately I DESPISE the way it is laid out! You really have to organize the medications by MANUFACTURER?! Makes finding a drug a living hell! Doesn't have some generic drugs like clindamycin unless it's under something completely different. Unless you really need this (like a doctor or pharmacist)...I'd recommend running far away!
