I was snookered. I thought this book might have facts and history about Iran's nuclear program, but it has no facts and very little true history. This book, like all the author's others, is a screed about his conspiracy theories. This is just an extension of his earlier "Unfit for Command" where he maligns John Kerry in a political attack. I see now he also writes for World Net Daily and this stuff is all he can produce. I expect his blood is boiling now that the same John Kerry and Barack Obama have successfully negotiated with Iran to reduce their enrichment and nuclear program.

This is a pretty good yarn, but it is not necessarily a historically correct or researched book. There are many historical characters here, including Lincoln, Grant, Burnside and others, and the authors have them say many things. However, there are no footnotes, bibliographies or explanations to justify the characters words or deeds. The book favorably portrays the black union troops and appears to be politically correct for current times. It describes the tunneling in detail, but again one is left wondering how accurate it is or on what is is based.

Great book. It was a little slow to start, but got better as the action started. It's sort of a cross between a Clive Cussler fantastic adventure, a Tom Clancy military yarn and Sharknado.

Very weird book. It's hard to follow and seems like a strange dream of the author. Apparently it means a lot to him, but it's very hard to follow or understand where he is going with this series.

This is an excellent book to read. On a whim I got it knowing it was one of Larry McMurty's early works and I was amazed how well his characters were developed. He is an amazing writer.

This is a bit dated, but the humor is still good. Al has achieved a lot since with his first close election to the MN Senate seat and then his re-election. Too bad he has to be such a straight arrow and refrain from using his gift for using satire to point out the fallacies for the Lying Liars who are still at it.

Tom Clancy used to be a good writer and I especially enjoyed his earlier books with the character Jack Ryan. However, this book is way too political and espouses his neocon policies. He continually argues that torture is effective and should be used. His politics ruin the story for me.

A good book with an unusual premise. It still works even though it is a little dated - pre Soviet Union break-up. VV's writing is not as good as his more current work, but it is readable and I enjoyed it.

Excellent book. He clearly describes the math behind statistics in an easy to understand way and shows how it can be distorted to produce inaccurate views. I especially liked his analysis of the Bush v Gore problems in Florida and the Franken - Coleman senate election in Minnesota.
