I normally don't care for memoirs as they're so fantastical and hearing how great someone is over and over again gets old. In this book, you get an incredible story. You might think it's fantastical in a different kind of way. While the GoGos was a favorite band of mine back in the day, I had no idea of what "really" went on in their lives until years later. KV's memoir is the tale of her life & her GoGos experience, the good and the bad and the ugly. I hope she writes a follow up to this taking us to the present. Excellent, excellent read.

LOVE this book!! Fast read. Entertaining and heart warming.I never would have read this had I not seen Josh on The Amazing Race. After reading, I kept saying to myself "Are they SURE this is the same person?" Loved, loved, loved this book!!

What a lost soul! Great writing voice. Candidly honest. One of the best books I've read. Generally speaking, I don't like memoirs because "celebrities" tend to come of as "me, me, me". Rick Springfield shares his demons and struggles to overcome them in brutal honesty that I know I couldn't do. Excellent read.

I don't even know how to describe this book. It's a story that is crazy but is so well written and engaging. I loved it.

This has been my least favorite Scottoline book. I found Christine to be annoying (not hormonal) and the plot took a serious nosedive when she became a "paralegal". I like books where while likely unlikely, you can see it "maybe" happening. The events in this story were way too far fetched for me. If this was my first Scottoline book, it would be my last. One a side note, I have read the book "One Perfect Lie" which had the first chapter previewed in my copy of "Most Wanted." It is an excellent read.

Excellent book. I'd say that this should be required reading for students, but I don't think the bullies would recognize themselves or what they do to their victims.

I agree with the other posted review that the first 3 pages were the best part of the book. I'm thinking the problem with the flow of this book was the translation. Since it was translated from French (I believe), I think some of the dynamic was lost in the translation. The ending provided no closure and I didn't really "get" why Louise did what she did. Nor was there closure on any front with anyone in the book. I'm just glad I didn't pay for the book and it was just a trade!

I'm not a regular Lisa Gardner reader but bought this based on the jacket description. Should have waited to find it here on PBS. I agree with another reviewer with the repetition. I found the ending totally unrealistic; it was as if she had run out of time and had to quickly finish up the book.

The book jumps around alot, not a "great flow" but I thought it was a good read. It was interesting to read her perspective, vs. Tori Spellings. I did like that she said nothing negative about Tori (other than she knew she had her recipe cards and she wanted them back).

I was very disappointed in this book. It didn't grab me from the start and it seemed to be same story/different title with the black/white theme.

It took me over 2 months to read this, as I said, since it didn't grab my attention but I did want to finish.

I was expecting a real surprise ending, but thought it played out the way the way it was lead up to throughout.

Some of the characters weren't really developed and I was just kind of let down by this.

Either that, or Harlan Coben just has me spoiled by being a phenomenal writer. Thankfully, I have his new one to start tonight....and that one will be finished in a matter of days.

I am so happy to hear that this is being made into an American movie! The foreign film did so well. I hope it sticks to the book - would make for a great thriller! Love all things Coben. Great read. I've re-read this one several times.

I found this to be a slow read and rather "wordy". It was an interesting story, it just took a while to get there. I agree with another review that I wish there was more information on Jonathan and his back story. I felt the ending was almost an "Ok, we're at the max number of pages, let's wrap this up." Not sure I'd actively seek out this author again.
