I enjoyed the book. Barbara Delinsky always tells a great story. However, no man is as kind and loving and patient as the ex-husband!

My book group enjoyed this book. We loved Shan who was such a good person but often in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is a heartwarming read with some interesting characters.

It was a little difficult to get into because there was so much going on. It covers a lot of territory as far as issues and what's important. It was full of surprises and emotions. None of the characters are perfect and not always likable but it is a satisfying read in the end.

I really liked this book. There is something appealing about leaving the hustle and bustle of the city to try a quieter life in the country. I liked the story and the writing and the main character. It made me want to read more books by Anna Quindlen.

This was a sad story about a woman who grew up on a rural farm and lived a life of obligation. The author writes a compelling story as told by a neighbor. It's one of those stories that stays with you as you wonder what you would have done if you were in her place.

The descriptions of the vineyard are so appealing that I want to find it and live there! It was a great story with many moving pieces. The characters were interesting and full of secrets which were all shared by the end. Good book to read outside in a comfy chair in a beautiful spot.

I loved this book! The Italian grandma, the recipes, the courage to start a new life, making new friends, and learning that you don't have to have a man in your life to make you happy. Life in a small town on the coast of Maine! What's not to love!

I kept thinking about the characters long after I finished the book. This book is a great opportunity to sit back and know you are in the hands of a good storyteller.
