I loved this book! Not only does it share a beautiful experience of the afterlife, it takes you on the journey of caring for a loved one after a horrific, life changing event. It gives perspective from the injured, and the family members who now become caregivers. I gave this book to the people I love at Christmas last year. I think this book can be healing for people who have unexpectedly lost a loved one.

Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, loves this book. My 17 year old daughter read it, I read, my mother read it. It may very well be the best book I will read in 2011.
We should all have a "big book of bright ideas."
I almost hate to trade this book, it was so wonderful.

Meh. Kind of all over the place, no real timeline in the book. Had to add stories of other similar experiences from other people. I would have thought that the amount of time the author spent with the family would have revealed some interesting background. Pictures would have been very interesting.

Many characters, difficult to keep track of, and I found this to be a difficult read. Parts of it are captivating, but I ended up quiting about halfway through.

Roller coaster. Many sad situations for a young woman that breaks your heart, but so inspiring. I didn't want it to end. This was the best book I read in 2010. Buy the book NOW!

Decent read, finished in two days. More interesting for me than the story plot was the inside story on growing up in a Mormon family. Too much drama, not believeable.
