I always enjoy Julia Spencer-Fleming's Clare Fergusson/Russ Van Alstyne books. This one was as good as all the previous ones in the series, and had some super twists and surprises in it. An up-and-down roller-coaster.

This was a delightful romantic suspense novel in the vein of Mary Stewart, with a touch of the paranormal thrown in as Blythe finds herself swept occasionally into the past to witness/experience the love story of ancestors many generations back. Her own love story in the present proceeds, as well, with all the requisite elements...
