I really liked this series of novels by James Patterson because I like the female protagonist, Lindsay Boxer. I love the Women's Murder Club and I hope that he continues to write more in this series.

This book offers very clear and simple advice on how to stay organized and how to approach studying of various subjects. It is great for those in high school and college and can even be used by those in junior high school wth help from a parent.

Princeton Review: Geography Smart Junior : A Globetrotter's Guide (Princeton Review Series)
Review Date: 11/17/2010

I think these "Smart Junior" series books are great! Most of them teach the subject matter through the telling of a story of a group of 4 friends, including one enormous, talking cat named Beauregard. My boys have really liked this one (Geography) as well as the Study Smart Junior and Reading Smart Junior!

The Story of the World: History for the Classical Child; Volume 1: Ancient Times (Story of the World: History for the Classical Child (Paperback))
Review Date: 12/13/2006
Helpful Score: 1

This book is written for the elementary child. It tells of Ancient History in a storybook style that is easy and fun for young children. The only criticism I have is that there are very few pictures to keep young children interested in the subjects, and those that are there are black & white.

This is the first book of a 2-book series. This is unlike James Patterson's Alex Cross novels - more science fiction-style. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
