I loved this book! The author took all of the teens questions seriously and answered them in a straightforward way in todays language, and sometimes threw in some light humor. I think reading this book would definitely strenghten a teen's faith. For me, it was a very nice "refresher course" on Catholicism. I highly recommend it - for teens, AND older!

I LOVED this series. I could hardly put the books down. Jennifer Chiaverini definitely knows how to spin a tale. Its so interesting to see how Sylvia Compson learns about her ancestors and how important quilting is in passing on her family's history. Chiaverini's characters are so warm and truly believable. The details given on quilting and all the love that she shows goes into creating a quilt make me want to learn the art myself! I highly recommend this series.

Kind of interesting. Showed me a side of Rosie that I was unaware of: her compulsion to help people at such a high cost to herself emotionally. An enlightening read.

This was a wonderfully fun book to read. Both my teen daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Could hardly put it down! There is mystery, romance, some sadness, and people discovering that they are stronger than they think they are, thus the happiness/contentedness. I recommend this book.

Much different from the usual Amish books that I've read. BJ Hoff writes about the prejudice the Amish faced because they were different, and the violent acts done against them by intolerant people. She also includes a storyline about the Underground Railroad and has her characters (even Amish ones) participating. Ms. Hoff is an excellent writer and storyteller. I really liked this book and recommend it.
