I love the Alice series because it is so true to how adolescents think and react to things. There are a few times in this book that did not seem to fit an adolescent mind, but over all I liked it. I agree with other reviewers that one part of the plot was resolved too easily (and I would have like more about prom).
Alice continues the second semester of her junior year. She looks forward to going to senior prom with her old friend (and boyfriend) Patrick. She has new opportunities in journalism class as her role for the newspaper changes. And she remains a good friend to Liz (who breaks out of her shy mold to do something new), to Molly (with leukemia) and to Pamela (who has a problem that is new to them all).

A heart warming love story about 2 Holocaust survivors, one who lived in the concentration camp and the girl hiding in the town who helped him. It would be a great story except that the people tried to passed it off as true when it isn't!

Babymouse is a 9 year old rodent who goes to school and plays like a regular girl. She has an active fantasy life that always gets her into trouble, making her late to class and dreamy when she needs to pay attention. We see her adventures along with her friend Wilson Weasel and archenemy, the popular Felicia Furrypaws. A fun easy read graphic novel.

This book is another in the Kay Scarpetta (forensic pathologist) series. After putting Jean-Baptiste Chandonne beinhd bars in the last book, she is forced to confront his brother in this one. As she chases him through Louisiana and the South. She must use the help of the killer to find his brother in a way that puts her uncomfortably close to him. I enjoyed it but this wasn't as good as the first few.
