Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Tales of the Slayer, Vol 1)
Review Date: 4/23/2010

This was a nice tie-in and the stories were interesting. My favorite being the story about the Florida slayer in the 1950s. It was a quick read & there are many short stories - so it was easy to put down and pick back up without missing a beat. I really liked the references to historical content in relation to the Slayers.

More historical content mixed in with the Slayer stories - fun concept! (There were a couple stories involving Buffy that probably could have been skipped.) Still was a fun read and kept moving. Favorite Slayer story - the Civil War tie in.

Unlike the other volumes, this only contains four short stories... Was a good read - was most interested in the Hollywood story (reminicent of Lorne's club from "Angel") and the one that tells of the Slayer that was called right before Buffy.

Wasn't anything earth-shattering, but kept me reading! I love this show and this was a decent addition to the Supernatural universe. (Good references to other episodes/characters in the show too)

I purchased this book for a friend as we had went on a trip to Forks last spring. This book brought back a lot of memories. It's all about the real towns talked about in the series (lots of photos!)
