I love David Baldacci's book, so this review may be a little slanted...

This one actually starts out a little slowly -- but quickly builds to a gripping tale. GREAT book!

I picked this up at a library sale, and really didn't know what to expect. I had never read anything by Barbara Samuel before. What a very pleasant surprise this book was -- funny, loving, sweet stories all intertwined. I recommend it to anyone who wants to listen to a book with a smile on their face...

I received this book when I ordered a lot of used library books from Ebay. I had never heard of this title. It was a pleasant surprise -- a very nice romance story that I would recommend with enthusiasm.

I found this book to be very intriguing -- a real "page turner" (if one can say that about an audio book). Not a happy story at all, but full of rich detail about life in Saigon around the time of the Japanese invasion. Recommend highly.
