Believeable characters, dialogue so real I can hear the voices. Not quite as gripping as some of his other books, but still an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed seeing Kitty's growth and developing understanding of herself.

Interesting story, but too shallow. I like to get inside people and their motivation, and it just wasn't there.

This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. My mother developed early-onset Alzheimer's at age 48, and Alice loses her abilities much as my mother did. I enjoyed reading from Alice's point of view. I do wish John's feelings could've been explored a bit more in depth.
