This book was a really short read, I read it in one night. The story is touching, and pretty well written for such a short book. However, I don't think I will be looking for any more books by Lurlene McDaniel.

A word of warning for anyone who finds vulgar language offensive when reading, this book has A LOT of language, and several crude references.
I think it's a great idea to use test words in a novel for a fast way to learn them, but it certainly doesn't need so much language. This book would not be good for younger readers.
