I liked the story with its many twists & turns, but I was less than enthralled with DiChiara's writing style.

A bit difficult at times, but worth the effort.
Thought provoking Pulitzer-prize winning story of terrible conditions during a terrible time in our history

Having little interest in this type genre & having never read any of Rollin's work, I reluctantly agreed to read this one at my son's urging. I am glad I did so as I found it to be imaginative, captivating & an easy read which was hard to put down. I am now looking forward to "THE JUDAS STRAIN" which I have just received.

Villains - Assassins - worldwide pandemic - hijackers - cannibals - secret codes.

I reluctantly persevered with this & wish I hadn't---- but then again I wasn't a big fan of the Da Vinci Code, nor of Tom Clancy's works in general (to which this is being compared). I have enjoyed some of Rollin's other books though, & maybe I was expecting too much from this one. I found this to be too over the top... too far-fetched... or maybe it was just me, but this was the least enjoyable book I have read in awhile.

Robert E. Lee on Leadership : Executive Lessons in Character, Courage, and Vision
Review Date: 11/27/2009

An informative,well-written look at a great leader and a greater human being.
Crocker's view of Lee/Longstreet & the Battle at Gettysburg differs sharply however from that of Michael Shaara in "The Killer Angels"

I found this to be an enjoyable, witty, easy to read thriller, which was my first Simon Brett read. I will definitely read more of his work.

An easy, interesting read, but scary as hell when relating the concept of perception management to our current political situation

I found this to be interesting enough, but so extreme as to be beyond belief. I still wonder what REALLY went on back then.
