I'm sorry, I really tried to get into the series (read 3-1/2 books) but the last one d-r-a-g-s on so. By the end of the first half of the book I just put it down, aware by that time I didn't care how the story was resolved. I can count on one hand the number of books I've simply stopped reading. Some of the secondary characters were interesting but couldn't carry the series. Maybe I'm too old for this genre; Bella's dithering and uncertainty about anything other than that she loves Edward grew excessively aggravating.

The author, before her death, wrapped up the series and I'm sorry to say, this is the last. I read them in order and enjoyed every one, growing more attached to the characters as their personalities were fleshed out over the years.

No map of Shrewsbury and environs in this edition.

The narration was so low key that, for me, even some of the subtle humor--and my attention--was lost. Partway through the recording I stopped listening and picked up the book, which I enjoyed much better.

One of Evanovich's early goofy romances. The plot? Who cares, hers are all fun! Author is working her way up to her Plum series.
