I had read the first three but this one just made me angry. This is NOT a complete book. There is no resolution to any of the plot lines. I wish I hadn't wasted my time. Evidently books 4, 5 and 6 and one continued story.

Enough! LOL! I loved it when Robin and Jules got together in a previous book but this entire book consists of them sharing their feelings. There is virtually no action and not much story - just these two guys working through their feelings, insecurities, etc. and gazing at each other. It's a bit over the top.

I really enjoy the Mercy Thompson series. This one brought in and tied together some favorite characters and history. It was a good read with a satisfying ending.

This is one of those books that I wanted to like. I liked the premise, I liked the opening and I kept plowing through it hoping to like the story. I think there were about 200 pages too many. Characters were introduced late in the book that served no purpose. The journalist and her editor? There also was not a single likeable character in the book. I kept hoping for a dynamite ending but even that was disappointing.

I really did not like this book. I can agree that it had some interesting twists and I read it to the end to find out the downer ending. The main characters are completely unlikeable and creepy. If you want to read a book that leaves you feeling sick to your stomach, this is the one for you.

Love the whole series but this one was totally captivating. I was surprised about how much I enjoyed the Jules romance. Wow! What a great story teller!

I love the series and especially the WWII tie ins. This, however, is not my favorite. I just couldn't buy into the Mike/Joan chemistry. Still... looking forward to the next one.

I wanted to like this book and really liked the main character from previous books in the serious but he was more than dominant and domineering. He was abusive and a total control freak. I had to stop about halfway and just skim the rest to get the mystery resolved.

What a great story! And from an expert storyteller. I haven't read a Gaiman book that I didn't love. This one is very clever and so well done.

I enjoyed this book. It is written for a fairly young audience - middle school as opposed to high school. Fair warning: there is no ending. I get annoyed with trilogies that are really just one book split into three parts. This is not a self contained story but a section of a 3-part book. Maybe best to wait until all 3 are published.

I really wanted to enjoy this book. It should have been a short story. Yes, there were some funny moments and cameo appearances by favorite characters. But the main characters are stuck in a time warp. They don't grow, learn from their mistakes or establish relationships. Totally forgettable.

This is a really great series. It's been too long since I read the first one to adequately review but I know I liked easy book better as I got into them. The character development and growth is perfectly paced and the final book ties up all the mysteries very satisfactorily. You won't be sorry if you stick with it and read them all. :)

This was a wonderful conclusion to the series. I was so pleased that all the mysteries were solved and questions were answered. OK... it was a bit predictable if you'd read the other books but in a good way.

Do NOT read this book if you haven't read the series. I'm sure it wouldn't be nearly so interesting as a stand alone book. So much of the pleasure comes from all the tie ins and character development from previous books.

I read the others in the series and this one just rubbed me the wrong way. All the characters were selfish and shallow. Gail is a big time lawyer yet can't seem to deal rationally with her personal life? When did Anthony change? The book is well written but painful for me to read.
