I decided to read Amy & Isabelle after reading Olive Kitteridge for book club. I found this to be a better book and is the story of a mother and daughter in a struggling relationship. Well written and held my interest until the end.

Great book and SO interesting. The Book Woman (and those who did similar jobs) was an amazing woman who brought joy to so many people. I highly recommend this book.

Great book. Rich in history of an early Korea and its character development. Yet another reminder of how repressed women have been in our history. I recommend it.

VERY interesting subject matter, especially if you are a parent. The story takes place in Amsterdam and involves 2 couples (the men are brothers) and what one would do if their teenage children do something "awful".

While much of the book takes place in a "dark" place (a hospice), it is a beautiful and well written love story.
I highly recommend that one reads the "Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Frye" first as the mirror side of is the story.

Interesting and different book for Jodi Picoult. Excellent story but a very difficult subject matter. While I do feel everyone should read this book, I did find parts hard to read due to the emotional impact. Well written and interesting twist on this subject.

I really enjoyed this book. Such an interesting perspective presented of 2 women from entirely different backgrounds...1st from Mary's point of view and then from Lizzy/Elizabeth's. Quick read. If you're interested in learning more about Mary Todd Lincoln, this book is a must read.
