Folksy and much like Louis L'Amour's writing. A grand tale that runs from Philadelphia to the old west and cowboy trails of the desert. Amazingly visual, deeply affecting and full of action. Loved it!

Remarkable how the boy knew so many things that were otherwise impossible to "know."

Nice story line, not quite as riveting as some of her other books. Always enjoy reading about Englischers' interaction with the Amish in her novels.

Astounding and awe inspiring .... I had to wait for it to be available, but was mighty worth the wait.

Many friends and family asked to read before I post it for swap, too! Fabulous read.

Blackstock weaves a riveting tale! She knows the truth and brings up new ways to elude the detectives who want her character dead. A page turner for sure especially when she's up against a wall..... Five stars!

Melody Beattie is the Queen of letting go!
I have read many of her fabulous books.
This is one of the great ways to start the day with great meditations and reminders about what really is important.

Tears of a Warrior: A Family's Story of Combat and Living with PTSD
Review Date: 1/4/2012

I am a wife of 4 yrs with Viet Nam veteran who served as a medic 1967-68 during the Tet Offensive.
This book is priceless, utterly invaluable in content information for anyone having or dealing with someone with PTSD. Unfortunately, the war experience is not left behind on the battlefield, but continues to affect and haunt the soldier as well as those in his/her life.
Just wish I had found this book sooner!
