I love the plays in this book, my main reason for getting it was "The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From" which is as hilarious as it sounds. As I read through the rest of the book, I came across many short plays that I have seen or been in and truly enjoyed that I had no idea Durang wrote! Not only does this book contain many amazing plays but also reflections from Durang which are quite insightful and enjoyable to read.

This book is one I read as a young adult but it really stuck out as one that did not treat the reader as a child, similar to Pullman's Dark Material series. I still really appreciate that today. It is a wonderful coming of age story, with a great adventure as well. My brother who is reads much less than I do also cites this as one of his favorite books from childhood, so I would definitely recommend this book as something worth your time at any age!

I don't remember the plot too well, but I enjoyed this one so much that I bought the second one, so I did really enjoy it.

This is one of my favorites! A classic that is almost a right of passage in the literary world.

I had to read this book for my sophomore history class and enjoyed it but not as much as some of my classmates who thought it was one of the best books we have read. Good for people who enjoy war stories and ancient Greece.

An gripping tale, full of wonderfully developed characters.

One of her best books, focuses more on her mother's story in China, a dark and fascinating tale. Great story and compelling writing as always.
