Betsy Devonshire has finally settled into her new life as owner of her deceased sister's needlecraft shop. But the stress of the recent attempts on her life, as well as dealing with the many wolves who want a piece of her inheritance, have led to nightmares and exhaustion. Her cop friend Jill invites her to a a "stitch-in" at a remote lodge for a restful vacation, but the nightmares don't go away - and it doesn't help that she finds a dead body that later disappears so that no one believes her. Betsy is determined to solve the mystery and prove that she is not imagining things.

Once again Ferris has come up with an intriguing mystery and interesting characters, but I was a little disappointed that the conclusion was held together by weaker threads (pun intended) than her previous books. Still and all an enjoyable cozy.
