I thought The Missing Brides was funny at points and laughed some. This one was even better. This book is a romp. Even knowing some of what was happening because I read Brides first (it should be read second really), I thoroughly enjoyed this one. There were a few moments of tension, but the good feelings from the laughter just would not let you feel them too harshly.

Over-arching theme is childhood friends growing up and discovering each other as adults. Aunt Clare is the main continuing character between this one and The Missing Brides and The Missing Matchmaker. Secondary characters in one story become the main the next story with the original main characters coming in as secondary ones. The usual linked, but independent stories, pattern.
