I have a huge ethical problem with this book. I am an employee of HCA, owner of Tulane hospital. After Katrina, I heard that HCA brass used private helicopters to rescue only their own employees and patients, leaving others to die. I read this book thinking that it would refute that rumor. However on the last page, there is a diclaimer stating that Bill Carey was hired by HCA to write the book. To me, that eliminated all impartiality on the part of the author. He was paid to write the book that HCA wanted.
