This book contained stories by Lydnsay Sands and Jeaniene Frost.

The Gift belonged to Sands Immortal Series. Readers of the series might remember Teddy Brunswick as the police chief of Port Henry (the place where Immortals are mostly out of the closet). He was reluctantly on his way to retirement. In stepped Katricia Argeneau on the brink of retiring from rogue hunting and with a possibility of heading down the path of becoming a rogue herself. Given this premise, I thought the story was going to be a little darker but it was really light and fluffy. It was very sweet with a simple moral of the real meaning of Christmas (not the Jesus Christ one, but the one about the most important gift is love). If I rated this story on its own, I would most likely give it 3 ½ stars.

Home for the Holidays was part of Frosts Cat and Bones adventure. Frosts writing just gets better and better. I couldnt put it down. Cat wanted a real holiday celebration with all their friends (even pscho Ian since Bones loves him so much). Then Bones found out he had a long last brother and the holidays are ruined with lots of mind control and bloodshed. Typical day for Cat and Bones. Like her books, the story kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept wondering how Cat and her friends were going to get out of a situation that got progressively worse and worse. I loved it.
