At first this book really catches your attention, the writing is very good and it's fun to read. The author talks about the paranormal events that take place in a house she moved into with her husband and children. The book chronicles the events over the years almost until the present day. I enjoyed reading the first part of it, but after awhile the stories become tedious and she could have condensed this book and you would have had the same experience I think. After awhile you begin to wonder if the author has psychological problems (she admits she does and goes on medication for them at one point), or if she's got dementia as her mother had towards the end of her life.
I'm a firm believer in the paranormal, however the author seems more desperate, fantical and sometimes crazy which is what I didn't like about this book.
Otherwise, it's a fun read, although I think it's too long.
