Might as well start with a disclosure: I'm a pastor; our congregation has benefited hugely from Rick Warren's extended ministries. Of course I don't agree with him on everything; I don't agree with anybody on everything; sometimes I don't even agree with myself. That being said...
This is a straightforward easy read, telling not only the basic story of the growing ministries Warren has initiated, but giving worthwhile historical and cultural background that helps to explain the wide acceptance of his work. It also clearly outlines some of his basic premises and teaching tools.
I recommend it!
