This is a beautiful book. It teaches children to recognize their talents which may be different from other's talents. And it teaches showing friendship and kindness to a class mate when others make fun of them.

In a nutshell the library roof is leaking and Samantha proposes and organizes very well a talent show of the students to get funds to re-roof the library. Because of Samantha's diligence and planning 100 tickets are sold and a lot of money is raised for the library.
