Wonderful tips about making a quilt using her methods. This book is easy reading and is a rubber meets the road kind of book.

Colorful diagrams are very helpful and I am really excited to tackle the Star Burst quilt. It looks like a giant snowflake when completed in the limited colors of blue, gray and white as shown in the book. For diamonds this is also something I have not tried due to all the bias edges. The author actually makes this a project with easy completion directions as well. I am an intermediate level quilter with a love for getting my quilt top done. I get bogged down with little pieces of fabric and love useful techniques without spending more money on specialty rulers/tools. I have so much time and money, this book is wonderful in helping me be more efficient.

There are eighteen quilt patterns in the book. The boomk also has factoids regarding each quilt or quilting in general. This one is a keeper for my sewing library.
