this is the story of 2 women in the late 19th century who meet in Paris and decide to take control of their lives. Their goal is to gain identity and freedom by creating a women's community on the Kansas prairie.
The story combines the romance of 'The Age of Innocence' and the indomitable spirit of 'Sense and Sensibility'.
