I read this for this month's "Easter" theme in my online book club, The Reading Cove.
I found it dull and lackluster. The narrative is comprised of two parallel stories set some 50 years apart on Easter Island, but the heroines were boring for the most part, and the stories didn't really connect in a meaningful way, so it was very ho-hum for me. I give it a C.
