V, from A to Z
Suddenly I envisioned the torture of hammering out a custody agreement and knew I could never divorce him. I may be celibate and miserable for the rest of my years, but I will not leave Roger. If only I could have it all, a husband and a lover. The French manage it, don't they? Or is it only French men? What do I know?
Eddie wants me. That's all I need. He caught me staring and winked. As I watched him I realized, this guy isn't even my type. In retrospect I realize that what attracted me to Eddie was his attraction to me. I saw his desire and suddenly it didn't matter what my type was.
Oh my word!!! This book kept me hooked from the first page until the last. I hated to put it down. It's written in diary form about this woman dealing with her marriage, her career, and so many other things! It's not a true story as far as I know, but it very well could be.
I am now off to order the second book in the series because I have to know what happens!!!
This book is written in diary format as you might gather from the title. I expected it to be pretty sleazy and wasn't sure I was going to read it. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's witty and poignant and the main character, "V", is just like my friends and myself--except a bit younger!
This is one of my favorite books. It is diary form which I love! It is best if you get the entire set, which I have listed. The other two books are called: The Diary of V - The Breakup & The Diary of V - Happily Ever After.
