This book is written in diary format as you might gather from the title. I expected it to be pretty sleazy and wasn't sure I was going to read it. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's witty and poignant and the main character, "V", is just like my friends and myself--except a bit younger!

Oh my word!!! This book kept me hooked from the first page until the last. I hated to put it down. It's written in diary form about this woman dealing with her marriage, her career, and so many other things! It's not a true story as far as I know, but it very well could be.
I am now off to order the second book in the series because I have to know what happens!!!

This entire series was hilarious. I loved it, as did my daughter.
Good chic-lit. Fast read & great diversion from the heavier lit.
This is one of my favorite books. It is diary form which I love! It is best if you get the entire set, which I have listed. The other two books are called: The Diary of V - The Breakup & The Diary of V - Happily Ever After.
LOVED this book. I couldn't put it down! Looking forward to reading more of Debra Kents novels.

And she's your uninhibited guide into the mind of modern women and the state of marriage today. In her very wild very honest, very real, very sexy diary, V tells all as she watches her husband stray into the arms of a younger woman. Now payback--in shape of a man--will be hers. He wqters the plants in her office. He's got gray-green eyes and sun-toasted skin the color of cafe latte. He name is Eddie, and he wants....V
