Alexandra "Chica" Bruce is a Brazilian-American author and filmmaker who currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

She is the author of six non-fiction books about popular culture, science and spirituality. Her latest, released in September 2009 is “2012: Science or Superstition.” This is her third book for The Disinformation Company, following “Beyond The Bleep: The Definitive Unauthorized Guide to 'What The Bleep Do We Know!?’” and “Beyond The Secret: The Definitive Unauthorized Guide to ‘The Secret.’”

She has completed work on two feature films as a Co-Producer, 2nd Unit Director & Consultant at Equilibrium Entertainment, LLC, and has worked on a third. All three documentary feature films are scheduled to be released during 2010: "Discover The Gift", "2012: The Beginning", and "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder".
