I love Archie and Gretchen and look forward to each new book by Chelsea Cain. She is one of my very favorite authors. It doesn't hurt that she lives in Portland, OR where I live. She writes about locations that are very familiar to me.
Although Gretchen seems like a ghost at times, she still is a scary part of the story. Archie continues to have his troubles and is still fighting his demons.
I look forward to another Chelsea Cain book.

I found this installment in Gretchen and Archie's life was good. The last book was far fetched a little "off" but this one picked up right where the first four were in terms of suspense and storyline. If you are a fan of Archie and Gretchen you cannot miss this one!

Another great suspenseful book by Chelsea Cain. Gretchen is back again and she seems more needy this time and perhaps a bit more compassionate towards Susan. The book ended differently this time, so maybe the story line will be taking a different direction????

Just when I thought this series was finally over! At this point you'd thin Gretchen couldn't possibly escape anymore, but there she goes. It's ok though because that means another one is coming and I love the characters.

Another good Archie Sheridan and serial killer Gretchen Lowell story. My only negative would be the skills Author Cain keeps giving Gretchen. This time she miraculously hacks into various computers. Where does she learn this extraordinary skill?! Anyway, still a good read, just not as intensive as the first Sheridan/Lowell novels. Perhaps Chelsea Cain should finally put this storyline to rest and give us another one we can sink our teeth into?

I was so glad to get this so quickly from the library but----it turned out to be annoying, it gets old very quick with all the repetitous 'dreams' 'thinking' or anything connected with Gretchen, the first couple books were really good but now it is getting old hat to think one serial killer could escape repeatedly from prison or wherever she was, and to have a cop that is what? in love with her? ridiculous, so I found this book a disappointment and more on the boring side as the story just doesn't have enough 'shock' to it and seems to drag on and on.
