I do like some UK writers but oh my--Gunn was just boring me to death with this one. I will try to read the first book it might be better but this one was so slow slow slow and it just went on and on about her injury and I got very tired of that over and over, even by page 100 it had gone no where but getting her into the house in a wheelchair and the part about her Dad? that was so confusing I didn't even try further with that part.

I had to give up, it was so slow and draggy and again part of it was in italics and I find that very irritating in a story to be reading back stories or anything in italics it doesn't add anything.

I didn't like any of these characters especially the main one so I doubt I'll pursue this series.
