I always enjoy reading about strong women working their way through problems, and really had a good time with this book. The characters are believable and the plots were well developed. I found myself staying up way too late reading. I'll have to go find the book about Susanna and Amanda now to complete the full story.

Loved this three in one book about three of four sisters who find love and history all tied up together. With the exception of the mushy love scenes (that I skip over)this book was absolutely wonderful! I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

Three more great Nora Roberts romances. Nice mystery and intrique and thoroughly likable characters. The Calhoun sisters live in an old castlelike home on the coast of contemporary Bar Harbor, Maine. The search for missing emeralds from the past spans all three stories. I really enjoyed all the stories and plan to get the next in the series.

This is one of two books about the Calhoun women (Catherine, Amanda and Lilah). The elderly aunt of the women is determined to see her nieces married. There's also a nice little side story of a treasure hunt. Being a Nora Roberts fan, I really liked it.

Atop the rocky coast of maine sits the towers, a magnificent family mansion that is home to legend of long lost love, hidden emeralds and four sisters determined to save their home against all odds. Courting Catherine - Headstrong beauty Catherine Calhoun (CC) wasn't going to let anyone take away the Towers. Especially not handsome hotel magnate Trenton St. James. For trent this was strictly business. QA Man for Amanda - A slow drawl was all Amanda Calhoun heard when she walked into the wall of denim and muscle that was Sloan O Riley the architect hired to renovate the Towers. For the Love of Lilah - Adrift in a storm, Professor Max Quartermain must have hallucinated the beautiful mermaid who came to his rescue. But Lilah was no mystical creature whe was a woman of Flesh and blood and undeniabley attracted to the intense and mysterious stranger.

Typcial Nora Roberts romance, which is to say better than most romances with a bit of mystery thrown in to boot. The Calhoun family comes to life and again Ms. Roberts manages to create vividly individual characters, each of whom has her own story under the umbrellas of family and mystery. (This is the first book of a two-book series.)
