I enjoyed this book very much, it is not a long drawn out story and the story flows smoothly and is about baseball in the 70's where you'll recognize a lot of names brought forth in this story. It is a tragic story that a tragic event changed the lives of two families forever.
I am not a fan of baseball, but this book was outstanding. It's a story about human nature -- the best and the worst of human nature. Thoughtfully told by our old friend, Grisham.
