I read this book many years ago and it truly changed my outlook on life. I then picked up this audio cassette version to be able to share it with my significant other, who isn't much of a reader. I plan to hang on to my book copy for awhile longer, but I wanted to share this audio cassette version, which contains the full unabridged text from the best-selling book, with someone else who will enjoy it as much as I did.

Fascinating book. Excellent for anyone on a spiritual journey, studying metaphysical topics, or just curious. I reread this every year or so, & always take away new things

I just could not get through the first tape. I kept waiting for it to get better. Finally on side 2 I decided it was wasting my time. Seemed to new agey preachy to me. I did not like any of the characters. I really did not feel like the main character was interesting. And I began to wonder how many planes were flying into Peru with searchers for this elussive manuscript, and then I gave up.
