Frost is on the case when his estranged friend Denny, whom he hasn't seen in years, dies on his door step. Book 3 in this series and my rating on all has been 1*
This was like trudging through mud from page one, it doesn't have any thrill to it, maybe some suspense as you want to know about Lombard but it takes forever to get anywhere. I got past page 100 (usually that is my limit for a book to grab me) but it wasn't long before I had to start skipping and skimming and that didn't last long until I just closed the book
Freeman used to write a really good story but his last 6 or so have been bummers.
