Daniel P. Bolger of Aurora, Illinois is a Lieutenant General (promoted 21-May-2010) of the United States Army.Formerly the Commanding General of the 1st Cavalry Division of Fort Hood, Texas, he currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. He is also the author of books such as "Dragons at War", "Americans at War", "Savage Peace", "The Battle for Hunger Hill", "Feast of Bones", and "Death Ground".
