A tale of the Humanx Commonwealth with typical Foster tongue in cheek humor. Shades of Laumer's Retief.

Foster continues to beat a dead horse. 3 different species stranded together on an inhospitable world must put aside their differences to survive. And the blasted plant thing that Foster has. Is he a fetish'ish or something?

Ok. This was tripe. Nothing original, nothing interesting, everything by rote and rehashing former storylines. I think Foster has written what he can and needs to stop.

If you have read any of Foster's books on the Humanx Commonwealth than you will also like this one, which is not about Flinx.

Is is not a great story, but it is an interesting one about species competition and warfare that is solved by a mushroom.
