As an Alex Rider Adventure it does not fail to impress. This book is fourth in the series. An overall good book with good writing.

Eagle Strike is a good adventure for Alex Rider. Not as good as the first three in the series but still enjoyable.

The fourth book in the Alex Rider series sends this teen version of James Bond out on his own. After his girlfriend's journalist father is almost killed, Alex discovers a link between him and the world's best loved eco-activist rock star (I think Bono should read this one). How is this world renowned philanthropist connected with that reporter's near-death experience? Alex is determined to find out. And, when MI6 refuses to help him, he goes out alone..........Another enjoyable adventure novel for young adults. And, though I'm not so young any more, I found myself rooting for the good guys as they, once again, go against the odds in an all-out attempt to save the world from someone who, in this case, wants to save the world!?!

my 11-year-old son really likes this series. There's action and intrigue, a little bit of violence; all the things boys like. He would recommend this book and this series.
