Interesting book. Hard to believe the woman could have such a hold over the ex-policeman she met on the internet. This was about a couple who met on the internet. The man fell in love with the woman and would do anything for her. She misled him into thinking that she was being abused by her husband. He was misled into killing her husband for her. It doesn't turn out the way the woman wanted.

Identity theft with a murderous twist
This true crime book documents one of the first convicted 'internet' murderers, and makes the reader chillingly aware of the dangers of the internet to those who don't even use it. The co-ordination and co-operation of multi-State law enforcement personnel to track down what happened is amazing, but possibly an exception to the rule in the United States. It's a good 'how to' for other agencies to emulate.

Good book!! Hard for me to put down, it's just amazing how much this woman lied and manipulated men around her.I still don't think she fully realizes the impact of her lies!

This book about the crimes of Sharee Miller is one of the most fascinating true crime books I've read. This woman was one of the most evil and manipulative people imaginable.

I watched the Lifetime movie on this called "Fatal Desire" with Anne Heche and even though that is a great movie it was not very accurate with a lot of the details of the case. This book really out the case in perspective for me which I loved. I got find out what was true and what was not in the movie. This story had a lot more to it. This was one of the book that I could not put down. Definitely a page turner.
