This is the latest in his "Night" series. It is a really interesting chase through the city with a lot of character development, too.

He comes out when the sun goes down. He delivers death from the barrel of a rifle. He's made New York City his shooting gallery. The press has named him The Night Sniper. He taunts those who would try to stop him, threatening to increase the body count unless legendary retired homicide dectective Vin Repetto is willing to engage him in a lethal game of cat and mouse.

He comes out when the sun goes down. He delivers death from the barrel of a gun. A madman's obsession is a city's nightmare.

I give this 4 stars just because I know Lutz is a good writer and this is a good one, however, by page 200 you know who's doing it and the reason, now you have to trudge through another 200+ pages of pretty much the same thing over and over, so for me it got a little boring when the story doesn't really get much better because the 'night sniper' is already known, now it is just adding tidbits to the story to draw it out rather than make it better story with less pages and without all the filler pages
