I loved the first book in this series and this doesn't disappoint. Gunner is back visiting Gillian lots of tension for a lawman to be with one of the top wanted men in the US. There is a lot of back story that starts to unfold but
more important are the gang wars erupting on the streets of New York. Of course where one goes they both go not a lot of down time for the visit but complicated mechanical men starts to appear and things get complex. There are lots of twists and turns and Gillian and Gunner track down the head of the new threat to New York.
