This book started out a bit dry for me, but after a few chapters, it finally started to pick up. What I liked most was how the main character thought her own father might have something to do with the murders. That kept me wanting to continue reading and find out if he was involved and if so, how. Beyond that, a lot of the story seemed to be a bit predictable. I'm also afraid that within a few weeks or months, I will have forgotten what happened in this book because it's fairly forgettable, so I can't seem to give it more than 3 stars.

Not bad, just not great. I liked the main character's independent nature, and the twists the story took. A quick read.

Good fast paced story.
This was a quick fast read. The storyline moves quickly and does not give much backstory to the situation or the characters.
You don't get hardly any backstory to them other than the main character.
Still a good solid quick read.

Starts slow, but gradually gets more and more suspenseful, with several effective unpredictable plot twists. Believable characters. A good read on a snow day!
