One reason I especially like this [10.25 x 9] book is that it is spiral bound inside a hard cover which allows the book to lay flat or to stand. There is a special section called: "Secrets to Success" which includes "how to keep your home-baked cookies fresh", "what makes cookies tough",and "which is better - butter or margarine?".

The book is divided into five sections - Drop Cookies, Brownies & Bars, Sliced Cookies, Shaped Cookies and Cutout Cookies.

Some favorites are - Snow Drops, Banana Bars, Pumpkin Bars, Coconut Macaroons, Pecan Pie Bars, Biscotti, and the more traditional shortbread recipes which include a lemon and poppy seed variation.

There are also 16 different frosting recipes included. Pictured on the cover is Chocolate Caramel Bars page 10
